Head Coach Jeff Bzdelik, And Colorado University Land Former Chicago High School Star Marcus Relphorde Of Juco Powerhouse Indian Hills Community College

Former Chicago high school basketball star Marcus Relphorde of juco powerhouse Indian Hills Community College has decided to continue playing his college basketball in the Big 12 Conference for Colorado University.

Relphorde, who stands 6'8", is a highly versatile player who is capable of getting minutes at four different positions on the basketball court. This past season, Relphorde was one of the top players on yet another loaded Indian Hills team that once again ranked among the top teams in the country.

Relphorde's father, Colin Relphorde, noted that the level of competition in the Big 12, the players, the makeup of the coaching staff and the academics offered by the school were all factors in Relphorde's decision to attend Colorado.

Relphorde, who is a strong student in the classroom, ultimately selected Colorado over Arkansas and Texas Christian. Louisiana State also made a late run at signing Relphorde.
